Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her writing and design. She advocates the rights of animals. The actress has won praise for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Her first position was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the globe after just three films. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
